I’m a BAFTA Connect writer with 15+ years in theatre, audio, and screen. I’ve written ten produced plays and founded Amaline Theatre Productions (2005–2012), where I championed new writing — something that still drives every project I take on.
My work leans toward flawed, funny, very human characters. People who are trying their best, failing occasionally, and making it entertaining along the way. Alongside my own writing, I’m a trained script editor and reader, helping writers and production teams develop projects with a clear voice, sharp structure, and something to say.

When I’m not writing or wrestling a script into shape, you’ll usually find me in acting classes, reading something clever, or deep in a streaming-service rabbit hole in the name of “research” (it absolutely counts).
I work across two main brands — Deliciously Bright and Write to Comedy — both built around the same core idea: stories with a distinctive voice and a bit of bite.

I have written ten plays and zero time-travel scripts — yet I still think I’m one good idea away from inventing a flux capacitor.

I am a Welsh writer, and therefore legally obliged to be funny.
If I’m not humorous at least 82% of the time, Cardiff council sends someone round.
I founded a theatre company before I learned what ‘work-life balance’ meant.
Turns out you can do everything… but you’ll be tired and powered solely by diet coke and spite.
I can talk about narrative structure for three hours, but ask me to choose an Instagram bio and I will crumble like a biscuit in boiling water.

I’m the creator of multiple podcasts, which basically means I willingly signed up to edit my own voice for hours at a time.
A level of self-confidence (or delusion) that should be formally recognised.
I am, in fact, extremely organised — colour-coding, spreadsheets, workflows, the lot.
You just wouldn’t know it from my life, where I behave like a gremlin who’s misplaced its glasses.
