If you’re trying to get a story, script, podcast, or idea out of your head and into a form that actually works, you’re in the right place.
I’m a writer and script editor, and I work directly with other writers. That usually means reading the work properly, making clear editorial notes, and helping you work out what to do next without turning it into a six-month existential crisis.
I work across scripts, prose, and audio. Increasingly, that includes podcasts, whether that’s shaping an idea, tightening a format, or giving honest feedback on what’s landing and what isn’t.

I read work for film, television, short form, and books at any stage of the writing process. Early drafts, messy drafts, and near-final versions are all welcome.
My feedback is editorial rather than prescriptive. I respond to what’s actually on the page, with clear notes on structure, character, clarity, tone, and momentum. You’ll get an honest sense of what’s working, what isn’t yet, and where your attention is best spent next, without being told how you “should” be writing.
Alongside general editorial notes, I offer sensitivity reading for both scripts and books.
A sensitivity read is a professional check on how a piece of work handles identity, culture, and lived experience. It highlights unintentional stereotypes, biases, or tired tropes that can creep in without notice, even in otherwise strong writing. The aim isn’t to censor creativity, but to strengthen the work, so characters feel authentic, layered, and credible rather than distracting or unintentionally offensive.
I specialise in sensitivity reading for work that explores:
female characters
midlife experiences
chronic illness
working-class stories
ADHD
childlessness
I work with writers who want to take an audio idea and turn it into a finished, published podcast.
Notes and editorial feedback on scripted or semi-scripted audio sit under script reading. What’s offered here is the practical delivery of audio projects.
This can include:
shaping an audio or podcast idea into a workable format
Deliciously Done Sessions focused on planning and decision-making
editing and post-production
preparing episodes for release
setting up and managing publishing and distribution
If you already have recorded audio, you can hand it over and I’ll take care of the rest, from edit through to upload. If the project is earlier-stage, I can help you work out what needs doing and in what order, without overcomplicating it.
Support can be one-off or ongoing, depending on the project.

A short, focused session to look at one specific writing problem that’s blocking progress and deal with it properly.
✔ 30-minute one-to-one Zoom session
✔ One clear issue identified and worked through, or turned into a practical next step
✔ Leave knowing what decision to make and what to do next with the work
Useful if you’re dealing with:
a draft that isn’t working but you can’t tell why
conflicting notes and no idea which to listen to
a structural problem you keep circling
deciding what the next draft actually needs to be
a project that’s stalled at the “almost there” stage
Fast, focused, and without any ongoing commitment.
A longer session for writers who need proper space to think a piece of work through and decide how to move it forward.
✔ 60-minute one-to-one Zoom session
✔ The time to talk the project through in detail and work out what it actually needs next
✔ Direct, experienced feedback without endless back-and-forth or vague encouragement
Best for:
deciding what draft you’re on and what the next one should do
working through structural or character problems
making sense of conflicting notes
planning a rewrite or next phase of a project
working out whether something needs fixing or letting go
One hour. One clear direction.
For when ideas are no longer the problem and follow-through is what’s needed
The Deliciously Done VIP Experience is for writers who have a project worth finishing but need space, structure, and continuity to see it through.
This is where scattered drafts, competing notes, and half-made decisions are brought into focus. Together, we work out what the project needs now, make clear choices, and put a realistic plan in place to move the work forward without turning it into a grind.
You can choose between a focused Clarity Intensive or the extended Momentum Package, which includes built-in follow-up support to help the work continue beyond the initial session.
Different levels of support. One aim.
Turning work in progress into finished writing.
No obligation. No pressure.
This is just an enquiry. I’ll email you the details so you can decide in your own time..
