About
Let’s be honest—this blog didn’t come from a five-year content strategy or a team of producers. It started with one writer, a lifelong love of television comedy, and the firm belief that overanalysing sitcoms is an entirely valid way to spend adulthood.
Write to Comedy is a space for deep (and occasionally ridiculous) dives into the world of on-screen comedy—mostly British and American, with the odd detour further afield.
Expect:
Top ten lists
Comedy Polemics
Nostalgia-driven tangents
Character dissections
And the occasional deep analysis of a single joke that once made me laugh and now somehow shapes my entire personality
This isn’t a masterclass. It’s more like sitting down with a friend who still quotes Spaced unprompted and has unshakable opinions about the structure of The Office—both versions.
It’s evolving as I go. But if you love TV comedy, structure, and the strange magic of a well-timed line, you’re in the right place.
